Collaborative Research: CyberTraining: Implementation: Small: PowerCyber: Scalable Workforce Development for AI-Enabled Power Grids

Led by Dr. Hantao Cui at North Carolina State University, with Xin Fang serving as the USC PI, PowerCyber scales a successful pilot into a national training and community-building program for AI-enabled power-grid research. The project will prepare faculty, postdoctoral researchers, and graduate students to use advanced cyberinfrastructure, scalable computing, data-driven modeling, and trustworthy artificial intelligence through hands-on training, reusable instructional materials, open-source computational environments, and a train-the-trainer model.
